Joseph A. Probasco
Joe Probasco’s practice includes representation of public and private companies in a general counsel capacity on a broad range of corporate legal matters, with particular emphasis on corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions and other business transactions. He has represented financial institutions, as well as corporate borrowers and private equity funds, in a broad range of leveraged finance transactions, with a particular focus on senior secured lending, recapitalizations and acquisition financing. Mr. Probasco also has extensive experience in structuring, negotiating and documenting complex mergers and acquisitions of public and private companies across a variety of industries.
Mr. Probasco regularly represents investors and issuers in structuring and negotiating private placements of securities, including venture capital and private equity transactions. He has represented angel investors, venture capital firms, private equity investors and mezzanine lenders in structuring investments in start-up enterprises and existing businesses.
Professional & Community Affiliations
Mr. Probasco currently serves on the Board of Directors of the Tampa Jewish Community Centers & Federation and was previously President from 2017-2021. He also currently serves on the Board of Trustees of the Jewish Federations of North America. Mr. Probasco is a member of the Hillsborough County Bar Association and the Business and Tax sections of The Florida Bar.
