Bush Ross Names Three New Shareholders
Tampa, Florida (December 1, 2005) -- Three attorneys have been named Shareholders at the Tampa law firm of Bush Ross, P.A.: J. Carter Andersen (Commercial Litigation and Dispute Resolution); Eric N. Appleton (Community Associations); and Brian T. McElfatrick (Commercial Litigation and Dispute Resolution).
J. Carter Andersen practices in the firm’s Commercial Litigation and Dispute Resolution group. He has extensive experience handling complex civil litigation matters in both state and federal courts and in alternative dispute resolution settings. Mr. Andersen handles construction and real estate disputes, professional malpractice matters, commercial contract disputes and other general commercial litigation matters. Mr. Andersen also has experience serving as disclosure counsel and underwriter’s counsel in complex public financings in Florida.
Eric N. Appleton practices in the firm’s Commercial Litigation and Dispute Resolution group as well as the Community Associations and Real Property and Lending practice groups. He is an experienced community association attorney who has represented hundreds of condominium and homeowner associations in Florida. Mr. Appleton assists community associations with day-to-day corporate operations, arbitrations, mediations and litigation.
Brian T. McElfatrick practices in the firm’s Commercial Litigation and Dispute Resolution practice group. Mr. McElfatrick represents clients in a variety of business-related matters in state and federal courts, as well as in arbitration and mediation. A significant portion of his practice is devoted to franchise law where he represents some of the nation’s largest franchisors in litigation involving a broad range of issues including standards enforcement, termination, trademark infringement and restrictive covenants. Mr. McElfatrick is also a member of the American Bar Association’s Forum on Franchising.
